CCR AICE Media


This is my CCR for my music video, which is my midterm for AICE Media Studies. I am so grateful I took this class, this was an unforgettable project.

Some pre-handed editing- Editing Blog

 Today I was not in actual class because I had to go next door to make shirts for my JROTC competition this weekend. The competition will be held at Nova High School. I emailed Mrs.Marchionne about it so that she would be informed why I wasn't in class. I knew that I wasn't going to be in class today so I edited last night so that I would not fall behind. Last night I inserted all the clips that were taken inside my Macbook. I trimmed and deleted all the clips that were unnecessary so that I would not get confused when editing. It took a while for all the clips to be fully inserted and saved into my computer. It was loading for a very long time. Soon enough it fully loaded and I got to work. I opened I movie and started. I selected "New Movie" and drag and dropped all the clips. Similarly as my last film "The commercial" I movie does not allow copy write. Courtneys Shots- Production Blog

 Today the Goal was to film Camilles scenes.. I went over after school to assist her in filming some of the scenes. When I got to her house, she went to change into her scene clothes. She was dressed in a bright pink top and jeans. We began with her walking through the front door of my house. I filmed me as she walked in through the front door. Because it was just her in this scene, she didn't have much lines. Me and Camille filmed the remaining shots for the scene of just her. Because she didn't have much dialogue, she had to make sure that her facial expressions were appropriate so that the audience could understand what was going on in the scene. These scenes were not difficult to film since I have prior experience to filming scenes like this. The most difficult part of this process, in my opinion, was determining the proper angle.   Storyboard The First shot:  (NIKE check on paper)   The first shot will be the statement piece of the commercial.  A “teacher” will be grading a test and write a check onto a paper.  The shot will start o ff  with  a  behind head  shot  to see what the  teacher is  doing . She will lift her hand and quickly write a check onto the test. The camera will then zoom in onto the check mark, this is what leads the story board to the next part.   The Second shot:  (Sean & Soccer)   The music starts here,  immediately  after the shot before. Our group is using the song “Eye of the Tiger ”.  The camera will zoom o ut on Sean’s cleat as he is kicking the soccer ball into the goal. T his will  cause a flow to the commercial .
