After a lot of brainstorming and thinking, my group has chosen our genre to do “Drama”. Our past t hree projects last year have been comedic and lively. We wanted to switch it up this time around. Since we have more experience know, it will not be as hard to make a Drama opening seen as it would have been a couple months ago. Our top three decisions were Horror, Thriller and Drama. The differences we discussed were that Horror is just straight up terrifying. On the other hand, thriller is scary but there is built up suspense. We figured that it would be easier to film a drama entrance rather than a horror film or thriller film because we are teenagers and drama is our lives . We also discussed that it would be more fun to make a Drama film . Our last three films were not intentionally humorous but they came out to be because we just looked like awkward teens. However with this film we want it to be different. We want to make something...
Thrillers are characterized and defined by the moods they elicit, giving viewers heightened feelings of suspense, excitement, surprise, anticipation, and anxiety. The CAMS in thriller movies go as such. A slow tilt may be used to unveil a character slowly. An angle such as a high angle shows that the character is being looked down upon. Or the outfits can be conspicuous. This may build fear and uncertainty in viewers. The lighting in the thriller genre varies. A specific one used is low-key lighting. a sharp contrast between light and dark areas on the screen. This creates distinct and deep shadows, which is often ...
As I stated previously, I was the one who recorded the film. Adding one more person (Addison) not including Sean’s dad to the cast and characters. This person was Addison. Due to there being so much people, filming the car scene was a little difficult. Thankfully Seans dad has a minivan. This minivan has multiple seats however it is still crammed when you are trying to film a video. Some issues I had with filming were trying to get everyone in the frame. This is because Beckett was on the left side and Sean was on the right side but there needed to be space in the middle so that Addison driving could be seen clearly. Although I do have experience with filming this was still tricky. However, with some adjustments that were made, I figured it out by using a wider angle with the phone. Another issue I had while filming was mother nature taking a toll. When we were filming there was great weather however it was windy. As most people know when wind hits the speaker of a phone it makes a dis...
