CCR AICE Media

This is my CCR for my music video, which is my midterm for AICE Media Studies. I am so grateful I took this class, this was an unforgettable project.

Our final product

Our music video took a long time to make. This does not change the fact that it was a rewarding project. It was both fun and exciting to work on. We learned even more tips and tricks when filming and editing thanks to this project. Our favorite part was hanging out and filming at the beach. The shots were fun to make there, and we got to try a lot of new things.   The most challenging shot to film was the sports shot. This was because we kept missing the throws or messing up a catch.  We did have some issues with the quality of our video towards the end of our editing process.  But we worked together as a team to resolve it. Maybe not completely but much better than before.   Overall  a successful project for our group.     Our music video took a long time to make.  Today was a very productive day for my group and me. Instead of using my computer to edit, we used Seans because his computer is newer and better. I already had the clips trimmed and on his desktop so all we had to do was insert them into I movie. However, we hit a big problem. The clips came out to be really bad quality. Our theory of this happening is that since My dad filmed on his phone, he sent it to me, then I sent it to Sean and Beckett through Snapchat, once it got sent to Sean's computer from his phone, it already lost all its quality. Since the clips went through so many devices to get to one place. However, I used my Cambridge thinking and just airdropped the clips from my phone to Sean's laptop. This helped because my videos were more clearer since it only sent through one device. We opened the clips on his laptop biting out nails hoping they would be more clear and they were. We were very happy. I had to do the same thing as last time when it came to the music par

Today I was not in actual class because I had to go next door to make shirts for my JROTC competition this weekend. The competition will be held at Nova High School. I emailed Mrs.Marchionne about it so that she would be informed why I wasn't in class. I knew that I wasn't going to be in class today so I edited last night so that I would not fall behind. Last night I inserted all the clips that were taken inside my Macbook. I trimmed and deleted all the clips that were unnecessary so that I would not get confused when editing. It took a while for all the clips to be fully inserted and saved into my computer. It was loading for a very long time. Soon enough it fully loaded and I got to work. I opened I movie and started. I selected "New Movie" and drag and dropped all the clips. Similarly as my last film "The commercial" I movie does not allow copy write. So what I did was I played the song on my phone next to me while trimming the clips. It honestly helped

Quiet on the Set- Film Blog

Sunday was the most productive day I have had a while for my AICE Media Studies class. My group and I planned to go along with the story board and film at Hollywood Beach for our music video. I told the boys to be there by 3:15. They were there at 3:11 and I got there at 3:30. The first thing my dad and I did when we got to the beach was find parking in the Margaritaville Hotel Garage. As we are leaving the garage to go find Sean and Beckett my dad hands me the parking ticket from the garage to hold onto. Sean and Beckett are waiting at Puffles just like I told them to do. We go over the storyboard and make a filming plan. One thing that we did not expect was there to be rain, however it started getting cloudy and windy so we knew we had to hurry up. As we pick a spot for my first scene we all decide that it would be best if my dad films the music video so that all three of us could be in it. As we film the second scene we have to teach my dad what a high angle shot is. My dad is fami
