 Today is the last day for editing. I left off by sending Camille my solo parts. But I cropped them a little bit before I sent them. The reason I am sending them to Camille is because she is better at editing. She has more experience then me when using I movie. But to make it a little easier for her I cropped the parts in my shots where I am getting reading to start acting. Also when I press the record button to start and stop. I also had to refilm one shot with my mom. This was because her head was out of frame. I didn't realize and it was a simple mistake. But luckily she was home to refilm it. After I cropped the scenes of just me, I reviewed them one more time. After I made sure everything was good, I sent them over to Camille again. I told her to use the most recent ones I sent because they were already cropped. All she had left to do was add them to out draft. Camille worked on adding captions. She added text to our film like the "directed by", "starring".

    Camille and I began editing a few of our short film's segments today. Camille  began by editing the video clips from the scenario in which Courtney is  at home. She made sure to remove everything from the video where there was either additional time or a mistaken section. Additionally, I  went through the videos and removed anything unnecessary from the Frame. Fortunately, I  didn't have to add any really challenging effects to the video, like split screens or transitions.  was careful to adhere to the kind of camera perspective that the storyboard had specified.   On m y lapt op, I utilized I movie for editing. I have experience with iMovie and have done so in the past to create videos at AS level. I enjoy using iMovie because I believ e it to be simple to operate and simple to edit. It would be incredibly simple t o utilize if I decided to add any unique sound effects or music. It also has cool transitions that I could use in my film if I fe lt like I needed the

Camille and I filmed the school parts first because that was our biggest concern. I wanted to make sure we got those done since spring break is coming up. Since we finished the school parts we are going to focus on the solo ones. Therefore, today after school Camille came to my house. She helped me film the parts where I am getting ready for school. To start, she used a medium shot to show me waking up for school. Then we started getting Macie ready for school. Camille did a close up of me doing my make-up and picking my outfit. Our biggest challenge was the breakfast scene. We wanted to do a close-up of my mom cracking an egg into a pan, but we couldn't get it right the first couple times. So we kepted wasting eggs. But it was pretty funny. Camille also did a close up of me my phone scrolling while my mom and I were having dialogue. This was to show that I was uninterested in having the New Girl talk with my mom. We then headed downstairs to film the scene where I am walking to my

 Today the Goal was to film Camilles scenes.. I went over after school to assist her in filming some of the scenes. When I got to her house, she went to change into her scene clothes. She was dressed in a bright pink top and jeans. We began with her walking through the front door of my house. I filmed me as she walked in through the front door. Because it was just her in this scene, she didn't have much lines. Me and Camille filmed the remaining shots for the scene of just her. Because she didn't have much dialogue, she had to make sure that her facial expressions were appropriate so that the audience could understand what was going on in the scene. These scenes were not difficult to film since I have prior experience to filming scenes like this. The most difficult part of this process, in my opinion, was determining the proper angle. I first wanted to do an over the shoulder shot. We also had to figure out how to make the embarrassing photo appear to be from a website or somet

We filmed the remaining school scenes at school today. Camile and I did not have media today, so we did it during study hall. Fortunately, because it's almost spring break, teachers aren't assigning too much work or giving too many tests, so I didn't have to miss doing my work during study hall. We all gathered at the bus loop to shoot the scenes. I had the script and storyboard ready to make sure we stuck to it. Camille was dressed in a purple shirt and jeans today. She didn't want to wear pink again because she wanted to contrast with yesterday's outfit, but She still wanted to emulate Courtney's aesthetic/look. I wore a tan shirt like the day before but it is a little different. We began by filming the scene that begins on the second day of school. This is where Courtney shows Macie's photo. I made certain that I had my photo ready for Courtney to send. We then filmed a video showing that the photo had been sent and that everyone had seen it. We then had

 Today during our 8th period, Me Camille Kameron and Mya started filming. All of us came to school in our costumes since our costumes are based on what teenagers wear. therefore, it was pretty normal for us. Kameron recorded the first in school scene of Macie walking into the bus loop. It starts with a Pan/ establishing shot of Courtney her friend and boyfriend talking in the bus loop. I filmed this part. It starts with a medium shot of Macie walking to the bus loop. She is having self - dialogue, trying to calm herself down. Then a close up of Courtney is shot to show her reaction of the "New Girl" walking in. Then both her friend and boyfriend get close ups. A medium shot is used to show the groups dialogue. Then a switch to Macie looking at them nd realizing they are talking about her. Macie is holding her schedule in her had. Kameron filmed a close up of the schedule to show that it was a schedule. Courtney makes fun of her then dismisses her group. However a shot between

 Today after school, I went over to Camilles house since she lives close to the school and we discussed the Costumes Courtney would have. Me and Camille have similar styles so it was easy to find something that would match Macies outfits. We took a look in her closet and she had so many options. I laid them out on her bed to find the best fit. We decided the first outfit to be a Hot pink shirt and Shorts. This will give the popular status to Courtney. Then we started looking for her second outfit. Since she was going to be wearing shorts the day prior, she will wear Jeans the Second day. And a similar pink shirt. This will give a "Mean Girls" effect. After we decided outfits, we started thinking about accessories. Courtney will have cute trendy jewelry that give the popular girl aesthetic. Friendship bracelets, stacked necklaces, cute earings. Camille has so much to choose from. Camilles sister also helped us pick out the perfect costume for Courtney. After we found the perfe

 Today, Camille came over to my house. We discussed costumes and the overall plan for our film to ensure we were on the same page. As a teenage girl, I have a lot of teenage girl clothes which help when picking out the costume for Macie. For the first day, Macie wants to make a good impression, therefore her outfit matters a lot. Camille and I discussed what kind of aesthetic Macie is going to have. We also picked a personality for her. The reason Courtney is intimidated by Macie is because she is naturally beautiful. So, in order to portray this, Camille and I decided to have Macie wear a cute outfit for her first day. Her outfit will be trendy and cute which will bother Courtney. Therefore, we chose to have her wear Pacsun light wash jeans and a fitted shirt. I will have my hair done nice. My mom will help me curl my hair both days. And I am sure Camilles mom will help her do the same. Courtneys costume will be similar to Macies, but she will be wearing a Hot pink shirt. The film wil

 I'm collaborating on the short film with my friend Camille. I'm glad I can work with her because she's a good friend of mine, and I think we work well together.. However, making a film with only two people in the group is kind of more difficult. We should have been more cautious about our ideas for our short film because there are only two of us, and we should have considered ways to make it easier for us to film without the need for extra people. However we got lucky because we have some friends that are willing to help us with out film. And thankfully, they have some experience with film. Me an camilles friend Mya who is also on my Waterpolo team will play Emma and will also assisting with filming. Kameron, another friend of me and Camile,  will play Jacob. He was also in all of my films last year in AS level so we have some history together. Camille and I felt guilty asking them to be in our film because this time of year is extremely stressful and busy, and they also h

 For my Scene, Macie needs to be sad. She is upset that she is always the new girl. Every film has props, but for mine much wont be needed. I will wake up by my alarm clock as the first prob.  I will have my make-up and hair brush to show that I am getting ready in the opening scene. My outfits are also props. My back-pack will show that I am getting ready for school. Pots and Pans are used by my mom to show that she is cooking breakfast. She will be making a typical American breakfast. Bacon and Eggs and orange juice. I am going to be scrolling on my phone to show that I am uninterested in having the "New girl" conversation with my mom. I am going to grab my car keys from the counter to show that I am leaving my house. These are the probs used in my first scene that I will be filming at my house.
