Production Blog: Editing
Camille and I began editing a few of our short film's segments today. Camille began by editing the video clips from the scenario in which Courtney is at home. She made sure to remove everything from the video where there was either additional time or a mistaken section. Additionally, I went through the videos and removed anything unnecessary from the Frame. Fortunately, I didn't have to add any really challenging effects to the video, like split screens or transitions. was careful to adhere to the kind of camera perspective that the storyboard had specified. On my laptop, I utilized I movie for editing. I have experience with iMovie and have done so in the past to create videos at AS level. I enjoy using iMovie because I believe it to be simple to operate and simple to edit. It would be incredibly simple to utilize if I decided to add any unique sound effects or music. It also has cool transitions that I could use in my film if I felt like I needed them, and it lets me quickly cut any movies. It also lets me change the speed and loudness of the videos. I didn't spend a lot of time editing my videos. To identify any parts that needed to be changed or removed, I took sure to watch the altered clips at least twice. I made the decision to postpone editing the segments that Julie and I filmed at school. We may both contribute ideas on how we want the movie to look in this way. I sent my solo shots to Camille since she is better at editing than I am. I am beginning to feel much better about the short film after watching how my footage were edited. I'm eager to see it all come together because it's really starting to take shape.
