Finally Finished with my Final Task- Final Task

Yes! We are actually, actually finished. I have the film embedded and we are done. One of our concerns regarding the film was quality. Due to the film being put in and out of imovie and our phones multiple times, quality was lost. We know from experience from the music video and commercial that quality gets worse when embedded into blogger. However, to clear our conscience we asked. Sean and I went up to Mrs.Marchionne to ask her. She states that we were fine, as long as we followed the rubric. She understands that quality gets lost when filming on phones. I sent beckett the film through whats app. This is because we both have different phone brands. What this does is it makes the quality 10x worse. Since whats app is a separate provider that we both have, it makes the quality better. And it sends faster. I am not sure if this is 100% true, but it worked for us. This filming experience was very fun. I am grateful I experienced this with the people I did. Regarding the film, I am very

Last Editing Blog- Final Task

Finally! Today in Media Class we finalized our film. My team and I worked on finding a filter to add over our film. We wanted to do this because we filmed in daylight. The light takes away from the creepiness of the film. After scrolling through multiple filters provided by Imovie, we found the perfect one.I only applied the filter to the creepy parts of the film. For example, where Julie, Sean and Beckett are walking through the woods. The filter is like a gray, tanish color. This adds to the aesthetic of the film. Now our next task was to finalize our music situation. As I stated in my last blog, the music somehow disappeared from the file. Today when I logged in it still was not there. I screen recorded the music on my phone and airdropped it to my laptop.I tried to add it into the file. However, it was given problems. For some reason I could not hear the music. The sound levels would not even show up. Therefore, I had to send the film to my phone and add the music from there. Using

Editing Blog- Final Task

This is my first editing blog for my final task. Today was a PSD day at school. On PSD day's classes are cut super fort because we get out of school 3 hours earlier than usual. Today, all day, I took the Writing FSA. Along with many other students. This meaning I did not go to Media Class. I am not sure what Sean and Beckett did during class today. I am pretty sure they took their FSA yesterday. However, I edited a little bit two last classes ago. I did not make it its own blog because we hadn't all agree on the changed that were made. However, last class we added in all the texts and black screens. We also added transitions. Added text boxes in I movie was new to me. I love I movie because it makes things so much easier. I never out text boxes before and when I did it it was simple. I also liked how there were so many options of fonts. It was like Microsoft Word for I movie. We attempted to add music. However when I checked today it disappeared. I did not tell them about that

Film Review

For my film review I decided to ask my Executive Officer in my Njrotc Unit. This person is always very honest  I trust their judgment. They are also a perfectionist like me so they are like an extra set of eyes. Some comments   Decent mystery movie.   There is definitely more potential for the use of eerie music during the part where ‘Julie’ goes missing.  Furthermore, the foreshadowing here was pretty well used.  the old man appearing in front of the car then several conversations had about him during the production was good.   would’ve been better depicted had it been filmed at a darker time frame.  The purpose of them being at this location is also unknown. This gives viewers an immediate disconnect.  old man’s costume definitely should have been darker instead of lighter, a black shirt or sweat suit would’ve completed the look.  the characters seemed to have been a bit too alert as to what was happening this is just a issue with overall acting.  My plan to accomplish this will be t
