Film Review

For my film review I decided to ask my Executive Officer in my Njrotc Unit. This person is always very honest  I trust their judgment. They are also a perfectionist like me so they are like an extra set of eyes. Some comments  

Decent mystery movie. 

 There is definitely more potential for the use of eerie music during the part where ‘Julie’ goes missing. 

Furthermore, the foreshadowing here was pretty well used. 

the old man appearing in front of the car then several conversations had about him during the production was good.  

would’ve been better depicted had it been filmed at a darker time frame.

 The purpose of them being at this location is also unknown. This gives viewers an immediate disconnect. 

old man’s costume definitely should have been darker instead of lighter, a black shirt or sweat suit would’ve completed the look. 

the characters seemed to have been a bit too alert as to what was happening this is just a issue with overall acting. 

My plan to accomplish this will be to add more shallow music. I will also try to find a dark filter. I am glad that the foreshadowing of the creepy old man did not go un-noticed. We did not think of making the creepy man more mysterious when it came to clothing. We should have worked on clothing overall.Now that i look back everyone’s costumes should have been different. We should have been in dark athletic gear. This would fit the film much better.
