My CCR Response

Julianna  Haslbeck   AICE Media Studies   10/17/21   P.2   Creative Critical Reflection   How does your product  use  or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?   My product represents current issues ,  with  Becketts  clip of the  Film.   Becket t’ s  clip is used to represent a person that is not traditionally in sport or athletic. This represents an issue because some people believe that  the Nike brand  is only for athletic people  and   for  people that are involved in sports. Beck ett  wearing  N ikes represents that anybody could use the brand. No matter what sport or even if you are not involved in  a  sport,  Nike  can be convenient to you no matter what. Nike can be used for  many   reasons,  for example ,  comfortable clothing, comfortable shoes, socks  and  accessories. The stereotype  now in  days is that brands like Adidas, Nike, Reebok are only fo r   fit  and  athletic  people,  however that is not the case. These brands  are  just use

Nike Commercial

Here it is! The final commercial. I am really happy that we were to finish this project. In the beginning, we questioned if we would be able to be productive even though we are a talkative friend group. We were one of the first groups to finish filming. Editing was a challenge because I was kind of solo. This was because it was on my laptop, and of course, they could not take my laptop home with them. I am glad we were not overdue with our blogs. I am also happy there were major technical difficulties. I do hope if there is ever another group project that we work together. I have never really made a commercial like this so this is new to me. I'm happy I tried this class out.

End of Production

I am so happy that we finished the project successfully! Today we started editing our film on Imovie. It went smooth at first however getting the music into the film was a mission and a half. I was trying to use my apple music account to get the "Eye of the Tiger" song however it was saying that I do not have permission due to copy write issues. We also had to refilm the check on paper because we filmed it verticle the first time. This frustrated me because the bell was about to ring and we had finished. However, I figured out a way to finesse my way into using the song. I played the song on my laptop while using a voiceover method on the Imovie app on the phone. It took a while to get it on beat with the things happening in the Video like Sean kicking the ball. So in 3rd period, I did a little bit more work on my phone while walking to class. I was so focused that I went to the wrong classroom. When I got home today I charged my laptop and got to work. It didn't take to

Unproductive Day for Editing

Image
Today's commercial day was very unproductive. I say this because the whole period we were waiting for the software to install. As in software, I mean the app are using to edit our film. We are using the app (imovie). I am familiar with this app, however it was deleted from my laptop so we had to wait for it to redownload. While we were waiting, we cropped some of the clips on our phones. I deleted some of the clips that we are not going to be using. My team and I did get slightly annoyed though. The reason I was annoyed was because my computer was taking too long to download the app. The rest of my team was upset because they has no access to imovie either. I felt like everyone was editing without us. We felt very behind. However, the software did install. My plan is to insert the videos inside the app this weekend. Therefore, on Tuesday we can be ready to edit right away. This will help us not be so behind. I felt a bit guilty because it was my computer that was taking long. I fe

Post-Filming 2

Todays film day was pretty simple, however we got a slight disruption. Another student in our class is working on the commerial alone. She asked my group if we could assist her in filming as well as being her actors. We went outside by the track but we had to find security to open the shed. We needed to go in the shed to find a tool used for track. After we found it, my groupmate Sean helped by being the track runner in her film. She taught him how to stance himself before running. I helped the girl with filming and I also let her use my phone to film since her phone was dying. Finally, we finish and we headed back to the classroom. I had to find a paper for Sean to write a red check on it. It took us a couple tries to get it correctly. I tried to film with an overhead shot so it could create suspense. I am very content that we are almost done with this project. It has been a really fun ride. It also wasn't so difficult to come up with a storyboard. Therefore, I am grateful for th
