Editing Blog- Final Task


 This is my first editing blog for my final task. Today was a PSD day at school. On PSD day's classes are cut super fort because we get out of school 3 hours earlier than usual. Today, all day, I took the Writing FSA. Along with many other students. This meaning I did not go to Media Class. I am not sure what Sean and Beckett did during class today. I am pretty sure they took their FSA yesterday. However, I edited a little bit two last classes ago. I did not make it its own blog because we hadn't all agree on the changed that were made. However, last class we added in all the texts and black screens. We also added transitions. Added text boxes in I movie was new to me. I love I movie because it makes things so much easier. I never out text boxes before and when I did it it was simple. I also liked how there were so many options of fonts. It was like Microsoft Word for I movie. We attempted to add music. However when I checked today it disappeared. I did not tell them about that today since I did not see them. Therefore, my next blog will be about whether or not we can get the music in. I am pretty sure we will figure it out, we always figure problems out.

Macies shots- Production Blog

Camille and I filmed the school parts first because that was our biggest concern. I wanted to make sure we got those done since spring break is coming up. Since we finished the school parts we are going to focus on the solo ones. Therefore, today after school Camille came to my house. She helped me film the parts where I am getting ready for school. To start, she used a medium shot to show me waking up for school. Then we started getting Macie ready for school. Camille did a close up of me doing my make-up and picking my outfit. Our biggest challenge was the breakfast scene. We wanted to do a close-up of my mom cracking an egg into a pan, but we couldn't get it right the first couple times. So we kepted wasting eggs. But it was pretty funny. Camille also did a close up of me my phone scrolling while my mom and I were having dialogue. Difficulties in Actors- Production Blog

 I'm collaborating on the short film with my friend Camille. I'm glad I can work with her because she's a good friend of mine, and I think we work well together.. However, making a film with only two people in the group is kind of more difficult. We should have been more cautious about our ideas for our short film because there are only two of us, and we should have considered ways to make it easier for us to film without the need for extra people. However we got lucky because we have some friends that are willing to help us with out film. And thankfully, they have some experience with film. Me an camilles friend Mya who is also on my Waterpolo team will play Emma and will also assisting with filming. Kameron, another friend of me and Camile,  will play Jacob.
