Finally Finished with my Final Task- Final Task

 Yes! We are actually, actually finished. I have the film embedded and we are done. One of our concerns regarding the film was quality. Due to the film being put in and out of imovie and our phones multiple times, quality was lost. We know from experience from the music video and commercial that quality gets worse when embedded into blogger. However, to clear our conscience we asked. Sean and I went up to Mrs.Marchionne to ask her. She states that we were fine, as long as we followed the rubric. She understands that quality gets lost when filming on phones. I sent beckett the film through whats app. This is because we both have different phone brands. What this does is it makes the quality 10x worse. Since whats app is a separate provider that we both have, it makes the quality better. And it sends faster. I am not sure if this is 100% true, but it worked for us. This filming experience was very fun. I am grateful I experienced this with the people I did. Regarding the film, I am very content with the results. I believe this Final Task improved my creativity. I also believe that this class helped my communication skills.

Camille and I filmed the school parts first because that was our biggest concern. I wanted to make sure we got those done since spring break is coming up. Since we finished the school parts we are going to focus on the solo ones. Therefore, today after school Camille came to my house. She helped me film the parts where I am getting ready for school. To start, she used a medium shot to show me waking up for school. Then we started getting Macie ready for school. Camille did a close up of me doing my make-up and picking my outfit. Our biggest challenge was the breakfast scene. We wanted to do a close-up of my mom cracking an egg into a pan, but we couldn't get it right the first couple times. So we kepted wasting eggs. Difficulties in Actors- Production Blog

 I'm collaborating on the short film with my friend Camille. I'm glad I can work with her because she's a good friend of mine, and I think we work well together.. However, making a film with only two people in the group is kind of more difficult. We should have been more cautious about our ideas for our short film because there are only two of us, and we should have considered ways to make it easier for us to film without the need for extra people. However we got lucky because we have some friends that are willing to help us with out film. And thankfully, they have some experience with film. Me an camilles friend Mya who is also on my Waterpolo team will play Emma and will also assisting with filming. Kameron, another friend of me and Camile,  will play Jacob.
