Schedule Planning Resolved


Update from where I left off. Today in class my teacher was not there therefore we had a sub. Before talking about scheduling, me and Elizabeth had a very long conversation about what is happening in Ukraine right now. I am including this in my blog because he showed me a video of something that is happening in Ukraine and it changed me. I now look at the world differently. He asked me “why are teacher not teaching/informing students about what is happening in Europe” After this, my group and i started to discuss scheduling.  We decided to film at Snyder park. Sean and Beckett live 35 mins away from me. Snyder park is a 15 minute drive for all of us. We did this so driving will be fair for all of us. Especially due to Gas prices. Which the sub also was informing me about. This friday is my military ball, there is no school. Saturday I am busy during the day. Sunday is the only day we can film. I need to ask my parents still. If anything, we came up with a reBound. To film on Monday march 28. This is only worse case scenario. If we do film on sunday , it will be early because sean has a soccer game at 2. This will effect the lighting of our film because it will be broad daylight. However, we doc used in using a filter. Hopefully my parents say yes to sunday filming.

Macies shots- Production Blog

Camille and I filmed the school parts first because that was our biggest concern. I wanted to make sure we got those done since spring break is coming up. Since we finished the school parts we are going to focus on the solo ones. Therefore, today after school Camille came to my house. She helped me film the parts where I am getting ready for school. To start, she used a medium shot to show me waking up for school. Then we started getting Macie ready for school. Camille did a close up of me doing my make-up and picking my outfit. Our biggest challenge was the breakfast scene. We wanted to do a close-up of my mom cracking an egg into a pan, but we couldn't get it right the first couple times. So we kepted wasting eggs. But it was pretty funny. Camille also did a close up of me my phone scrolling while my mom and I were having dialogue. Difficulties in Actors- Production Blog

 I'm collaborating on the short film with my friend Camille. I'm glad I can work with her because she's a good friend of mine, and I think we work well together.. However, making a film with only two people in the group is kind of more difficult. We should have been more cautious about our ideas for our short film because there are only two of us, and we should have considered ways to make it easier for us to film without the need for extra people. However we got lucky because we have some friends that are willing to help us with out film. And thankfully, they have some experience with film. Me an camilles friend Mya who is also on my Waterpolo team will play Emma and will also assisting with filming. Kameron, another friend of me and Camile,  will play Jacob.
